Split Miner

Augusto, Conforti, Dumas, La Rosa and Polyvyanyy's Split Miner: an event log to a BPMN model in five steps — directly-follows graph and loops, concurrency, filtering, split gateways, join gateways. It is not restricted to block-structured models the way the Inductive Miner is, and it is guaranteed to produce deadlock-free ones, which is what makes it the accuracy-versus-simplicity benchmark other miners are measured against. The 2.0 variant reads concurrency from activities whose executions overlap in time rather than from interleaving, and can tell an inclusive choice from a parallel one.
